Emily Huskinson '12 started the company after deciding that she wanted to add some “bling” to her beloved Aggie Ring. She wanted to make hers unique to enhance the tradition of the Aggie ring, so she approached Lyles-DeGrazier out of Dallas, Texas to custom make a set of diamond encrusted bands to fit perfectly around both sides of her Aggie Ring.
Scott Polk '84, Aggie football letterman, President of Lyles-DeGrazier, learned of her idea and convinced her that this idea had enormous potential to become popular in Aggieland. Emily was hesitant at first to the idea of turning this idea into a business simply because she wanted to be the only girl with this dazzling addition to her ring. Scott’s undaunted enthusiasm and ideas about manufacturing this ring for all Aggies to enjoy proved to be too much for Emily to resist. Since that fateful meeting, they have not looked back and have partnered together to develop a superior fine jewelry product that meets and exceeds the expectations of women who want to add sparkle in a classy way to their Aggie ring.
About Our Manufacturer Lyles-DeGrazier: Arch M. Lyles started Lyles-DeGrazier in 1949. He was the grandfather of the current president & owner, Scott Polk. As the new president in 1989, Scott directed the automation and subsequent move from the Dallas downtown central business district to the World Trade Center.
